Cooking Experiences with Chris Hastings

Join Chef Chris Hastings live from the Hot & Hot kitchen as he prepares recipes from his cookbook Hot & Hot Fish Club: A Celebration of Food, Family, Traditions.

The mission of our restaurants, Hot and Hot Fish Club and OvenBird, has always been to deliver an experience of spectacular food, special memories, and the sense of family while sitting at one of our tables. Beginning last year, we started diving into new ways to continue bringing that mission to you. And now you can invite Chef Hastings and his recipes into your kitchen. During our cooking classes, Chef will be streamed live on Zoom cooking your pre-selected meal. Once you purchase a ticket, you will receive a recipe along with the listed ingredients needed. You will also receive a copy of the class video afterward so you can save the recipe for a later date!

Event Details

  • Join Chef Chris Hastings as he cooks favorites from the Hot and Hot Cookbook live on Zoom. You can choose to cook along with Chris live or save the video for another time. After purchasing tickets, we’ll send you a Zoom invite and recipe.

  • Chef Hastings is also available for private corporate events. They range from 45 - 90 minutes and are perfect for rewarding staff or customers during the pandemic.

  • Private events for individuals also available and are perfect for dinner parties, birthdays, anniversaries, children’s events, etc.

NEED TO KNOW:

  • Reservations are highly recommended. Walk-in guests are accommodated if seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Our patio is not covered. Patio is weather permitting. If there is inclement weather we will do our best to accommodate you inside, but we cannot guarantee a table.

  • Children are welcome, but please note we do not have high chairs or booster seats.

  • For parties of 8 or more, please call the restaurant at 205-933-5474.

  • Reservations of 6 or more people, an automatic 20% gratuity is applied to the bill. If your party size decreases, please call the restaurant or update your reservation via Resy. Upon arrival if the reservation has not been updated you will be charged 20% gratuity.

  • Please email info@hotandhotfishclub.com for private functions in our Chef’s Room.
